Admin Support for Dispatch Team

Description:This position has high potential to be promoted to a Dispatcher position.


Requirements:

• 2-3 years Dispatching or Customer Service experience
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Ability to communicate clearly on the telephone and text messaging
• Strong ability to problem solve and plan efficiently
• Strong ability to take initiative
• Basic Computer Skills and proficiency in Outlook and Excel
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be able to commit to full attendance and no vacations allowed during busy season: 5/15-9/30
• Team Player
• Willing to work Overtime when needed
• Knowledge of Geography
• Logical thinker
• Attention to details
• Sense of Urgency
• High degree of accuracy
• Understand how to manage time and develop a process to complete tasks


Responsibilities:

• Assist Dispatch Team as needed.
• Data Entry
• Copying maps and documents for Team

Assist Team members with the following:

• Dispatching HHG Drivers and crews to locations across the country
• Monitor and record Driver’s information for payroll purposes: gather, review, investigate, and input payroll data
• Maintain compliance with accounts / customers
• Involve other Dispatchers in planning process to trouble shoot
• Handle third party trailers and car hauling programs within budget
• Handle research on missing items with Service Centers and Drivers
• Monitor Trailer tracking system
• Data Entry and reporting of all move information accurately
• Review jobs with Drivers to ensure we get the CTQ to Drivers on their jobs
• Communicate daily with assigned Drivers and Service Centers
• Call Customer to confirm dates and times
• Develop any solution necessary to solve customer and Driver issues
• Coordinate with Move Coordinator any changes to services
• Job assessment to determine ability to complete job on time
• Communicate any maintenance issues directly with the Maintenance Department
• Communicate with Driver, Planner, and Service Center any shipment issues and concerns
• Monitor Driver’s time to get home


Schedule:
• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 -6:00 Depending on Service Center hours
• Saturday- 8 TO 12 (5/15-9/30)
